Christian New Creation (CNC) has suddenly lost an active and dedicated member of the board: David Russo, CPA.
“David was a passionate and intelligent man, who brought years of experience to our organization,” says Rosanna Anderson, who serves as CPA for CNC and is a longtime supporter of the ministry. “His contributions were a tremendous element of our growth and service to our Residents and the community.”
David was a former Moody Foundation Scholar, which assisted in his attendance at University of Texas, and later University of Houston.
A Galveston Native and current Houston resident, David was a consultant in accounting, auditing, compliance, fraud prevention/detection and business improvement.
David’s volunteer activities included leadership roles for ACTS, Kairos, St. Kolbe, and St. Dismas inside prison retreat weekends for the last 15 years. David was active in the weekly Alpha program at TDCJ Carol Vance unit.
David and his wife Mary, parishioners of Prince of Peace Catholic Community in Houston, were both active in the ACTS ministry and served in the role of EME’s in church – David also in prisons.
