With the passing of Ray Solcher, the Christian New Creation (CNC) Board of Directors have elected Ken Wolf as Chairman of the Board. Ken was named to the board after volunteering as a mentor to the men at CNC. He first became involved with prison ministry many years ago through serving on Kolbe Prison Ministry retreats in the Estelle and Wall units of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) system.
Under the leadership of Chairman Emeritus Ray Solcher in 2021, the CNC board launched a capital campaign entitled “Funding Our Future” to increase the availability of services to men being released in the TDCJ system. “My main goal as chairman,” says Ken, “is to see the capital campaign come to completion.”
This year, CNC will serve approximately 175 clients. “The ‘Funding Our Future’ campaign will enable us to expand our capacity just as soon as our resources allow,” says Ken.
Steve Sigloch and Jennifer Harting were elected to serve as Vice Co-Chairs of the Board.
