Interim Chairman of the Board / Chairman Emeritus
We have a lot to celebrate this year! Individuals and foundations alike have been making great contributions to Christian New Creation (CNC), and we are serving more men than ever. We are also just four months away from our 20th anniversary, which is this coming April.

I would like to start off by thanking Frank Maher, a founding board member of CNC, then known as Catholic New Creation, for his years of service on the board. Frank is now retiring from the CNC board, but he was there from the very beginning. For over 20 years, Frank worked with our founder, Father Ron Cloutier, making visits to the Harris County jail.

Next, I would like to introduce you to our newest board member, Ken Wolf. Ken retired from ConocoPhillips in 2003 after working in pipeline and terminal operations for over 33 years. He became involved with prison ministry by serving on Kolbe Retreats in the Estelle and Walls Units of the TDCJ System as well as doing monthly visits to these units, assisting the men in their spiritual growth. He also serves as a Director for Municipal Utility District 98. Ken and his wife enjoy travelling and are avid golfers.
Finally, I would like to share with you an update from Executive Board Advisor Kevin Rung:
“CNC has broken its record! In a period of three weeks, we took in 23 new residents. Within two weeks of their arrival, 18 of those 23 residents will have been placed in living-wage employment. Never before in our twenty-year history has our organization accomplished such a large, successful intake in so short a period of time. Let’s give some kudos to our staff who are working so hard right now to enable these men to become better brothers, better sons and better fathers while reentering society. Keep our residents in your prayers!”
That pretty much sums up where CNC is right now. We are in awe of the number of lives that are being transformed through Christ and are grateful for your continued support.
