Mission
Christian New Creation’s mission is to provide safe housing, mentoring, family reunification, and employment assistance to men released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facilities, with the goal of giving them the opportunity to become productive citizens in a new, and much better, way of life.
VISION
The vision of Isaiah/Providence Houses Organization is to be an effective transitional facility for men released from the Texas Prison system, and to be recognized by the TDCJ Parole Division, prison inmates, and the community at large, for our less than 5% recidivism rate. We dedicate our actions to Christian values, and to promoting the best interests of our residents, in their journey towards becoming productive Christian citizens.
History of Our Organization

Christian New Creation, Inc. (formerly Catholic New Creation, Inc.) is a Non Profit 501(c)3 public charity Texas corporation, formed on April 3, 2002 by Fr. Ron Cloutier. Fr. Ron felt there was a definite need for a highly structured faith based nonprofit transitional living facility, dedicated to rebuilding the lives of Christian men coming out of TDCJ prisons state wide and Harris County and surrounding county jails. With Fr. Ron’s vision, a Board of Directors was formed and major fundraising began.
The Isaiah House and Providence House programs are the culmination of years of experience dealing in prison ministry, and we recognize the need to assist newly released men when making their transition back into society. The Isaiah House Program was launched in 2006. In July 2007, Isaiah House opened to our first residents at a leased housing facility on North Main Street. In November 2008, Isaiah House moved to our present facility located on Ashworth Street. In 2010, Providence House was gifted to us. Today, our two housing facilities have a total combined capacity to serve 30 residents.
CNC Today
Isaiah House and Providence House are Non-Contract residential transitional living facilities approved by the TDCJ Parole Department. We provide housing for our Christian brothers transitioning from incarceration. Today we are recognized as one of the best transitional housing facilities for ex-offenders in the State of Texas.
We are a catalyst for bringing healing and hope to those who have been released from incarceration. We believe that Jesus is present in all people regardless of who they are, where they come from, or what they have done; that it is only through faith, prayer and reconciliation that former felons can hope to change their lives; and become productive and respected citizens.
Over the last two years the organization has undergone many changes, including a name change, a new director and staff, and additional board members. In addition, we are modernizing our processes and adding additional programs and enhancements to better develop and educate our residents.
